Today I played pop guitar and voice for Westfield State University's "Live at Lunch" series. I was set up in WSU's Dining Hall playing for students, professors, and workers. My favorite audience members were the ladies working at the dessert station where I was set up. They were singing along :)
Here are some pictures of my performance at Tanger Outlets, Foxwoods. I played for four hours for Tanger's "Share the Love" Valentine's Day weekend event for browsing shoppers. I really enjoyed my time playing. When a musician is playing for a passing crowd it's easy to feel invisible but a lot of people stopped to listen to me and even said things to me like " Wow, you sound great"..."Your playing is beautiful"...."Thanks for the music, we like it!" :)
A special thanks to Lauryn Thibodeau, wedding photographer, for choosing me as a featured wedding vendor on her blog! The post contains a short interview about who I am, what I do, and what I can offer an engaged couple for their wedding day! Are you looking for a stellar photographer?! Check out Lauryn's stunning photos!
What a great start to a new year! I was hired to perform for a house party on New Year's Day in Avon, CT. I started off playing classical while guests picked pop tunes on my ipad's set list for later on. I couldn't have asked for a better audience, they were so enthusiastic! One of the songs requested was"Going to the Chapel" by the Crystals. Everyone jumped up and started singing along with me to celebrate! They had great voices and were even harmonizing!
